Some of us love words while others of us prefer the fewest words possible. Some of us like to learn new words and think there's nothing better than to kick back on a summer's day and read the words others have written. Just about all of us like to say words—LOTS of them. Words have the power to destroy, divide and discourage, but they also have the power to enlighten, change, and save. God chose to use words to tell us about Himself, speak His truth to us and instruct us about how we can know and relate to Him. In the Christian faith there are some college level, BIG, technical words that are loaded with meaning and have sparked debates, inspired books and helped alter people’s eternal destiny. Over the next 6 weeks, we will unpack these BIG-word truths using SMALL words because understanding and living out their truth is vital to our relationship with God.
